The disposition of your very soul- your existence- for all eternity depends on a decision you make. Or it may depend on a decision you choose to not make, which, itself, is a decision. My friend, your friendship means so much to me. I have known you so very long and cherish the time we spend together or speak on the phone or even exchange correspondences over the web.

Great friends often have great differences at some time in their lives. Great friends sometimes overcome these differences and those friendships last and maybe even grow as a result of differences. I trust that our friendship, as great as it is, will withstand the revelation of the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, something than can- and I pray will- happen to you.

Did you ever wonder what those "born again Christians" are talking about? You know how they go around saying that all men (and women) are sinners and need to repent and seek God's forgiveness? Well here, right here friends, in the privacy of your internet ether you can learn just WHAT THE HECK they're talking about. It costs nothing but your time and may just put you into a time and place in eternity that we can only hope to know and none of us could ever earn.

I'm sure that you understand that if an artist creates a work that he determines isn't worth keeping he- and only he- has the RIGHT to destroy it. He created it, he can destroy it. Well that's the way it is with God; the Creator of all that was created has the right to destroy any of His Creation or all of His Creation.

THE TWO PREVIOUS DEMONSTRATE THAT HE CAN BE MULTI-DIMENSIONAL AND IT WOULD BE RATHER ASSUMING TO LIMIT GOD TO ANY NUMBER OF DIMENSIONS (OR TO DIMENSIONS AT ALL, REALLY).

HOWEVER, IF WE DO NOT DEFER TO HIM, THEN HE, AS OUR CEATOR, HAS EVERY RIGHT (AND THE ABILITY I WOULD ADMONISH YOU) TO DO WITH US AS HE PLEASES INCLUDING- BUT NOT LIMITED TO- JUDGING US.

GOD DOES NOT EXIST OUTSIDE (OF) LOGIC. (HE IS NOT ILLOGICAL; HE IS NOT CONTRADICTORY IN NATURE.)

While it is not ours to judge, without expectation of being judged by the same metric, it is ours to discern and I’d like to make a case using logic.

Just as an artist has the right to preserve or destroy her artwork, because she created it, so God has the right to preserve or destroy HIS creation. (We are HIS creation).

If God has prepared for our lives to extend beyond what we see on Earth then we will “go somewhere” after death.

Because God is God He can set any standard that He wants regarding final disposition of our souls. I think that it would be imprudent to prepare for His standard to be less than PERFECTION. If we strive for perfection, then we are more likely to finish closer to perfection than if we strive for less. And why would God have another standard?

I know that you will absolutely agree with me when I say again THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY.

There is nothing more certain in this whole composition than that THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY.

May I suggest that you let no man deceive you into that man’s way, but that, in seeking God’s way, your efforts be with urgency (just in case you die soon).

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD…”

Seems to me that if we were dropping bibles over lands in which multitudes are held in bondage by terrorists, tyrants and false religions we’d be more likely see effective national defense while making new brothers and sisters who have an interest in living peacefully along with us even if half a world away. Also, bibles have got to be much less expensive than bombs and I think God approves only bombs He approves, while I would believe that He finds bibles acceptable pretty much all the time.

Galatians 4:16 Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth

SCRIPTURE IS GOOD (SO BELIEVE IT). GOD IS AN EXTREMIST. Even (sinless) Jesus did not consider himself good BUT only the FATHER.

While it is our not to judge with impunity, it IS ours to discern- and I’d like to make that case using logic.

Therefore we can be certain that God, who desires a personal relationship with us, His creation, as evidenced by His close and personal attention to His first creation in humanity, Adam and Eve, has the right to do with us as he pleases. (Fortunately he is not capricious.) He did create, after all, Adam and Eve, NOT Adam and Pastor Steve. This is to say that, while a pastor is a tremendous help to us, God wants no one, ultimately, to be between us and Him. This is why God created Adam without Pastor Steve. The question of whether or not there should be someone between God and women, generally, Eve being created as Adam’s helpmeet is for another time. And, no, God wants women to come to Him directly, also. God breathed the breath of life into his created Adam when His nose was two inches from Adam’s nose. Adam has seen the face of God from two inches. This, obviously, is what God desires from his creation, i.e. us. This is not to say that Pastors are not valuable.- to the contrary a good pastor is immeasurably valuable, but the (His) desired end is that we walk hand in hand with our Creator. The Adam paradigm shows us so.

I don’t want to point fingers and you can trust that I don’t consider myself extremely knowledgeable regarding the bible but the scripture that follows this paragraph makes me think of the women of “The View.” Several days before the terrorism of September 11, 2001, they traveled to the Playboy Mansion West and queried of Hugh Hefner how much sex had taken place in various places on his property (and one of them) made a not very subtle suggestion that she’d like to have sex with Hefner AND one of his playmates together. (Check the tape, if you wish, I am certain that you will agree that I correctly grasped her innuendo as she verbalized a wish she made having dropped a coin into a wishing well). Several weeks later they were all but paying homage to a piece of metal at “ground zero” that looked like a cross. If people who would do such things (as happened on television at the Playboy Mansion) are allowed to appropriate “godliness” in their own image then many (more) people might be deceived. The scripture that reminds me of these women of The View follows:

KJV 2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof, from such turn away. [Emphasis mine] 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses [through televisions?] and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of truth. [If this doesn’t describe the Diet/Belief/Deliverance /Hope/Instruction/ Guru of the moment crowd, what does?]

2 Corinthians 11:10 As surely as the truth of Christ is in me, nobody in the regions of Achais will stop this boasting of mine. 11 Why? Because I do not love you? God knows I do! 12 And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. [Emphasis mine] 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. 16 I repeat: Let no one take me for a fool. But if you do, then receive me just as you would a fool, so that I may do a little boasting. 17 In this self-confident boasting I am not talking as the Lord would, but as a fool. 18 Since many are boasting in the way the world does, I too will boast. 19 You gladly put up with fools since you are so wise! 20 In fact, you even put up with anyone who enslaves you or exploits you or takes advantage of you or pushes himself forward or slaps you in the face.

Colossians 2:18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions.

2 Timothy 2:14 Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value and only ruins those who listen. 15 Do you best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.

Surely the God who created us would let us know that there is a way and what that way is.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, [that does not say woman, you might notice] and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned—

AFFIRMATION THAT, HAVING SINNED, WE ALL ARE IMPERFECT AND, THEREFORE, CANNOT SAVE OURSELVES AND ALSO AFFIRMATION THAT GOD CAN- AND WILL -JUDGE.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

CHRIST DIED FOR US. HE STOOD IN FOR US TO TAKE THE PUNISHMENT THAT WE ALL DESERVE AND COULD NOT OTHERWISE AVOID.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

BECAUSE OUR SINFUL NATURE LEADS US TO DEATH AND WE CANNOT SAVE OURSELVES, SALVATION IS A GIFT. (GIFTS ARE FREE. Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—9 not by works, so that no one can boast.)

Romans 10:13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

HE NEVER TARRIES. HE IS KNOCKING AT YOUR HEART. JUST OPEN THE DOOR, OPEN YOUR HEART.

Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH: SAY IT OUT LOUD. WHEN YOU DO THIS CONTACT A BELIEVER AND HAVE FELLOWSHIP.

THIS IS WHY GOD GAVE US THE OWNER’S MANUAL FOR THE HUMAN RACE. HIS BOOK. THE BOOK.

HE GAVE IT TO US TO AVOID THE WAY THAT SEEMS RIGHT TO US BUT IS NOT. (SOME OF THE SINCERE VERY WELL MAY GO INTO HELL SINCERELY WRONG.) HE SPELLS IT OUT. WE ARE ALL RESPONSIBLE FOR IT (OUR KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORD OR THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORD). LET NO ONE DECEIVE YOU.

James 4:2 You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. 4 You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

John 15:17 This is my command: Love each other. 18 "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

(This scripture is apparently also referenced by our nations' founders in the Declaration of Independence.)
